Lounge Cocktail Server - Caspians
Job Summary
The Lounge Cocktail Server will deliver a quality experience while maintaining a great energy and vibe.
Actively taking orders, completing food and beverage service, and monitoring the guests’ experience, while
continuously interacting with the guests, fellow team members, and management in a polite, courteous
manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
Duties-Responsibilities
▪ Greeting guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome
▪ Guiding guests through all phases of their experience
▪ Exhibit proper menu knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and
alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
▪ Solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest
▪ Check ordered food and beverage items, ensure accuracy and deliver items to guests according to
steps of service
▪ Process Guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
▪ Ensure that all tables and chairs are set correctly and clean
▪ Assist in running items, bussing tables and setting tables when necessary
▪ Keep table tops, floors, service areas, and POS station/s clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash,
throughout shift
▪ Request identification from customers when legal age is questioned and works in an efficient and
professional manner
▪ Comply with all state and federal liquor laws
▪ Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention
▪ Refuse further service of alcohol to intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner
▪ Clean all spills immediately
▪ Pouring waters, serving condiments and some side-items as necessary.
▪ Provide direction to and assistance to support staff to ensure proper service
▪ Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately.
▪ Maintain a level of professionalism, that will make guests want to return
▪ Bid farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return
▪ Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
▪ Communicate effectively with management and service team members in order to fulfill and address
any issues or needs requested by guests and or other team members
▪ Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and team members’ needs and inquiries
▪ Conform to the department grooming standards, uniform or attire, and jewelry policy
▪ Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and all health and
safety regulations set by County health department
▪ Responsible for proper check out policies and procedures
▪ Perform side work as assigned
Work Experience & Knowledge-Education Background
▪ 2-year experience as a server/cocktail in a similar, high-volume restaurant environment or 1-year
experience in a fine dining establishment required
▪ Must have a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food
▪ Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems and cash handling skills
License-Certificates:
▪ SNHD Food Handlers Card
▪ Alcohol Awareness Cert
▪ Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in The United States

▪ Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
▪ Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards
▪ Must be 21 years of age to handle beverages in the State of Nevada
